This is a stashbuster project, so...

The pattern ... is available here!
There are 21 parts to the project, but you can stop when you are "done". There is a book, but it is not available locally (must be purchased from UK)

The Yarn

1. Check out the colors in the project. There are 3 versions. The link to the pattern contains a list of the colors and the amounts needed.
1. Large: Worsted Weight  requires about 4,400 yds of yarn in 10 colors.  (About 6' x 6')
2. Medium: DK weight requires about 3,800 yds  in 11 colors (About 4'7" by 4'7")
3. Small: 4 ply/fingering weight 2,800 yds in 11 colors (About 3'3" by 3'3")
2. Check out your stash and see what you have that your can use... then 
3. Come into the store and Mitzy (our color expert) and Flo will help you fill in the missing colors.

You can use any color scheme you want, the ones used in the pictures above are ideas based on what the designer used. They can be used in which ever size you want to do. If you are an especially loose crocheter, remember to increase your yardage to ensure that you will have enough!

The Hooks

Large Size - US H/8 (5mm) & US I/9( 5.5mm)

Medium Size - US E/4 (3.5mm) & US G/6 (4mm)

Small Size - 2.5mm (or US C/2 - 2/75mm) & 3mm (or US D/3  - 3.25)

There are 2 hook sizes used the smaller is for the round part, then up to the large hook for the remainder of the blanket.

We will be starting the 2nd Tuesday night in August at 7pm, so start checking and planning for this adventure! Stop by the store, if you need help getting organized or have questions about how it will work.
