Building With Lace

If you love lace, but are intimidated by it, this is the class for you!

Third in the Michelle Hunter Series of skill building programs, this class is designed to challenge both intermediate knitters & adventurous, confident beginners. Each month, we will explore different lace knitting technique in a classroom setting - so help will be close at hand as your learn the technique. Tune up your skills with the basics of knitting lace and move into Japanese lace stitch techniques, cables with lace, beads and much more.

In class, you will practice the assigned technique, then move on at work the pattern on your shawl. In addition, each class will feature tips and hints for working knitted lace and some that will help you no matter the project.

This class costs $25 per session and meets once a month on the 1st Thursday of the month. Class size is limited to a maximum of 8 students. If there is sufficient interest, an additional class will be added on the 4th Saturday of the month.

1,500 yds sport weight yarn (recommended yarn is Rylie by HiKoo)
US #6 24" circular needle
Cable Needle
800 #6 beads
